1) National Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Association (NBPA) will be co-leading the Black BioPharma Executives, Entrepreneurs, & Scientists: Building the Future Together symposium on June 15, 2015 in downtown Philadelphia, PA from 2pm-5pm. Our invitation only event will occur during the large annual, international DIA conference.
2) The NBPA symposium connects leading biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare executives, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, scientists, technologists, and academics. We are the world’s preeminent annual conference focused specifically on mutually beneficial collaborations among Black and African-American executives and entrepreneurs in the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors in the US and globally.
3) We are honored to have two extraordinarily distinguished organizations partnering with NBPA on this special event: (i) the National Medical Association (NMA), which is the largest and oldest national organization representing African American physicians and their patients in the United States and (ii) National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), which is the leading association of Black health care executives and promotes the advancement and development of Black health care leaders and the elevation of the quality of health care services rendered to minority and underserved communities.

Our Vision is to become recognized as the world’s leading advocate, voice, and core connector for African-Americans and Blacks in life sciences industries, including the biomedical, biotechnology, medical device, nanotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors. Our Mission is to promote deeper and broader professional contact, communication, and resource exchange among African-Americans and Blacks in the life sciences ecosystem, including executives, entrepreneurs, investors, payers, academics, physicians, researchers, scientists, policy makers, and service professionals.
