On January 3, we are holding our 2013 Kick-Off Reception for Bite Me Cancer!
2012 was an exciting year in which the foundation began to make a real impact in the lives of teens with cancer and raised money to fund thyroid cancer research.
At this special event we will provide an update on our progress, activities and goals. Bite Me Cancer founder, Nikki, will speak at the meeting along with a few others who will share their special perspectives. You will also be able to meet members of the foundation's board and committees while enjoying food/refreshments. Beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres are being provided pro bono by Hooters of America.
This is a great opportunity to learn about Bite Me Cancer and how you may be able to get involved. We hope to see you January 3rd!
Seating is limited, please reserve your spot today!

When & Where
Bite Me Cancer Foundation
Bite Me Cancer is focused on supporting and inspiring teens with all cancers as well as raising awareness and research funds to fight thyroid cancer.
Bite Me Cancer was formed as a nonprofit foundation in September, 2010, by Nikki Ferraro, who was 17-years old at the time. Nikki was diagnosed with a rare form of thyroid cancer in April 2010 when she was a junior at Chantilly HS in Virginia. Nikki was determined to lead a Relay for Life team just two weeks after her diagnosis. She named the team Bite Me Cancer and experienced immediate success. When Nikki decided to create a foundation a few months later, she wanted to continue the legacy of her team name and thus her foundation became the Bite Me Cancer Foundation.
