Bitcoin and the Future of Money

Wednesday, May 22nd from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
presented by General Assembly + Quartz

We'll take a close look at bitcoin, the alternative currency that has captivated investors, skeptics, and geeks alike. Does it have a future as a legitimate form of currency? And what does bitcoin's rise tell us about the potential for other forms of math-based money that isn't issued by governments? Oh, and we'll mine some bitcoins while we're there.

Hope you can join us!

Panelists include:

Zach Seward, Senior Editor, Quartz (moderator)

Felix Salmon, Reuters

Jaron Lukasiewicz, CEO, Coinsetter

Charlie Shrem, Co-founder, BitInstant
