Recognizing the need for greater public and academic awareness of sex trafficking, this forum will explore the power of film in effectuating a movement to combat commercial sexual exploitation and modern-day slavery.

This groundbreaking forum will draw together filmmakers and academics, advocates and activists, politicos and professionals, friends and neighbors. Collectively, the audience will engage in a lasting effort to understand the complicated and disturbing issue of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Attendees will depart from the forum and return to their communities with a keen sense of duty, energized to eradicate human trafficking and empowered with the knowledge and tools to become modern day abolitionists.

The event will include:

  • Special guest appearances, book signings, and engaging panel discussions.
  • Eight films across 3 days from compelling documentaries to a critically acclaimed Hollywood based on the heroic story and life of Kathryn Bolkovac.
