Director Connections: A Leadership Training Program for Early Childhood Administrators” brings both new ideas and tested protocol to participants as they brainstorm together how to maximize efficiencies and stimulate quality in daily operations.

February Session: Dynamic Director: Leadership Lessons for Center Administrators
It takes solid leadership skills to develop a cooperative, effective and efficient team. This workshop helps participants identify their roles, strengths, and needs as the administrator of an early childhood program. You’ll gain new tools for guiding your program towards your goals in 2013.

Building Strong Programs Through Excellence in Service
Setting high standards for our programs and implementing them on a daily basis is a challenge for both new and experienced managers. Discuss the meaning of "professionalism" and apply it to the day-to-day experiences of the child care center. Set goals for "stretching" your staff towards their next step in excellence. Define the level of customer service your clients expect, and set a plan to achieve it.
Staffing for Success
Building the best team and keeping them on target with team goals is a key component of a center administrator’s job. Motivated, knowledgeable, and productive teachers are more important to children than any toy could ever be. Improve staff performance and strengthen your partnership with them through discussions, role-playing, and team building activities. Learn how to lead them as your partners, rather than manage them, to help create your very own “dream team.”
Time Management for Center Administrators
Participants in this workshop will learn the benefits of time management and discover how to use time more efficiently to manage everyday tasks. Learn how tos to “create” time, in your busy day, delegate for efficiency, and eliminate the distractions that often steal our time! A must for busy directors and administrators!
Director's Network will be scheduled every other month in 2013! You may preregister for 4 sessions at $250.
