Biking for Barrett is a local fundraiser in conjunction with Spring-for-SIDS, a national event sponsored by the American SIDS Institute to raise awareness about sudden infant death and provide funds for research.
All proceeds will be donated in honor of Barrett Tallman.
Barrett Tallman was born on August 29, 2011 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved son of Trent and Katie Tallman. He had a big sister Kendall who called him “Bubba” and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly. When he was only 6 ½ months old, he passed away unexpectedly while taking a nap, the victim of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Our family is committed to raising money to fund research so that someday parents won’t suffer the grief and anguish of such a devastating and unexpected loss.
