Please join us as we honor the former Northwestern Athletic Director and Green Bay Packers President and CEO
Mark Murphy is the current President & Chief Executive Officer of the Green Bay Packers. Prior to that, he was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, the athletic director at Colgate University (his alma mater) and Northwestern University, and also enjoyed a successful playing career in the NFL as a two-time Pro-Bowl safety for the Washington Redskins from 1977 to 1984. Mark is believed to be the first person to earn a Super Bowl ring as a player (XVII, 1982) and as a team chief executive (XLV, 2010).

James A. Jacobs
James (Jim) has been on the Board of Directors since 2003 and served as club president in 2010. Jim currently serves as Community Service Chair, Club Historian and Executive Committee member. Outside the club, Jim is the Assistant Director of Planned Giving at Claremont McKenna College, avid bicyclist (both road and mountain) and a big Green Bay Packers fan. On the weekends you can often see him and his wife Jackie chasing around their dog Jenny.

Founded in 1933, the Big Ten Club of Southern California was created to celebrate getting out of the cold and enjoying the camaraderie of others at various local events and functions. Plus with our long standing association with the Tournament of Roses, Big Ten Club members enjoy access to Tournament related events.
Major events include the Rose Bowl game, Person of the Year, Queen's Luncheon, and Caucus at Wrigley Mansion.
