Big Sunday will host its 3rd Annual Holiday Party & Sing-a-long on December 16, 2012, from 3 – 5 p.m., which will include family-friendly festivities for everyone. Swing by Big Sunday headquarters at 6111 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90020 to join in on the tree decorating fun, the lighting of a menorah and to nosh on hundreds of delicious sweet treats. The Big Sunday Band will return this holiday season along with songstress and band leader Carole Beren to entertain party-goers with holiday favorites. This year, special invited guests include groups from: AbilityFirst, an organization serving kids with developmental challenges; Asian Pacific Women’s Center, a safe haven with support services for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, and Sunset Hall, which provides support for elders of diverse communities who share independence of spirit and involvement in the world, with the goal of achieving and maintaining social connections, learning and activism throughout life.
The holiday fete will coincide with Big Sunday’s End of the Month Club collection of perishable and non-perishable food items for December, and it will also feature Big Sunday’s Annual Toy Drive. Please feel free to drop off toys for kids in need or donate food items for the hungry. Donated food and toy items aid numerous non-profit organizations throughout Southern California that are listed on Big Sunday’s 2012 Holiday List.
