Event Details

Interested in next-generation data warehousing technologies? Learn how MPP data warehouses fit with Hadoop and MapReduce for Big Data analytics. Aster Data, Informatica, and MicroStrategy are putting together an informal evening event to discuss advancements in data warehousing and big data management. Similar to ScaleCamp, where 100s of folks attended, Big Data Summit will showcase some of the most innovative uses of MPP data warehousing and other complementary solutions like Hadoop that harness the power of Big Data.

Big Data Summit is colocated with Hadoop World, so swing by around 6 PM on Thursday night for a bite to eat and hear the success stories of leading companies that have adopted innovative approaches in MPP data warehousing. Presenting will be Jonathan Goldman, former Principal Scientist at LinkedIn, Michael Brown and Will Duckworth, EVP of Software Engineering and Director of Software Engineering for comScore, Inc., and Colin White, President and Founder of BI Research.

Learn more about where to use Hadoop, the Hadoop and data warehousing ecosystem, MapReduce and other technologies being used to tackle Big Data in unique ways. Stick around for networking, free beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres.

Registration is FREE, limited to the first 80 people.
