Global Big Data Conference is offering 3 day extensive bootcamp on Big Data. This is a fast paced, vendor agnostic, technical overview of the Big Data landscape. No prior knowledge of databases or programming is assumed. Big Data Bootcamp is targeted towards both technical and non-technical people who want to understand the emerging world of Big Data, with a specific focus on Hadoop, NoSQL & Machine Learning. Attendees will experience real Hadoop clusters and the latest Hadoop distributions.

Day -1 (July 19  8AM-8:00PM Advanced Hadoop Track)

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Hadoop 2  + YARN
Hadoop version 2 has just been released and has some exciting features.
In this session, we will learn about the new & noteworthy features in Hadoop 2.
YARN is the shiny new distributed computing framework in Hadoop 2.  We will  look at YARN architecture and design and implement a map reduce program using YARN. This session is  hands-on.

1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Introduction to Apache Pig
Apache Pig is a powerful, high level data processing language. It is widely used at companies like Yahoo and Netflix. During this session, students will get introduced to Pig. We will learn about Pig concepts, architecture and Pig Latin language. Students will learn to program in Pig by working on hands-on lab sessions. This session is very hands-on.

Day -2 (July 20 8AM-7:00PM Advanced Big Data Track)

Polyglot Persistence and NoSQL Databases for Application Developers
Following Topics for each of the popular NoSQL Databases will be covered:
Architecture and Design Patterns of Non-Relational Databases, Use Cases, Design Considerations, Patterns, Tools and Emerging Trends
