Our Faire is a continual day of mirth and merriment, excitement and education. The village streets lead you past crafts, costumes, food, stages, and games. The Enchanted Shire has six stages of ongoing shows performing every half-hour. There is also an arena for the jousts and the Great Square for pirate battles, maypole dances, and other fun!

FEATURED PERFORMERS
The Imperial Knights – Donning 130 pounds of steel armor, these warriors mount 2,000-pound horses and charge at each other with solid hemlock lances at speeds of up to 30-mph while peering through a quarter-inch eye slot in their helmet. Real men. Real weapons. And, yes, sometimes real blood. This is full-contact jousting at its best.

Suspended Reality – Open your mind and enter a world of fantasy and magic, where dreams take flight and the inner child comes to play. This talented team combines aerial performance with Shakespearean theater.

The Belles of Bedlam – These lovely ladies sing and make merry in a show that is a romp through the daily lives of a group of sisters who own an Inn.

Mullaney - Mullaney is high energy, multi-layered music featuring a stage full of instruments with an acoustic feel and an “organic” neo-traditional style. The music of MULLANEY ranges from freshly arranged traditional tunes and Celtic favorites spanning centuries to original songs and much more. Offering an extensive repertoire of songs and styles representing hundreds of years, there is something for everyone in each performance.

Tribal Beats – This belly dance troupe fuses music and moves from around the world, creating a fun and ethnic dance that is pleasing to the ears and easy on the eyes.

Children’s Medieval Band – You will be amazed and inspired by the talent of these three young musicians. Stefan and his two sisters, Olga and Cornelia, play authentic renaissance music on a variety of instruments.

Moonridge Animal Park Presents – Zoological information in an historical context. Get up close and personal with animals you may never see this close again.

Ciran the Gypsy Magician – Fun for all ages…where everyone is a part of the magic!

Davey Tankard -”One man a guitar, and a sense of humor that makes sailors gasp and blush. Davey delivers a raw, unapologetic look at the world through songs and shanties with a love for debased nocturnal shenanigans.”

Birds of a Feather - A lovely trio  of sweet melodic voices!

Black Rose takes on the character of her ScotIrish, and English heritage during the time of the Renaissance while accompanying herself on the acoustic guitar, Celtic bodhran drum, and bagpipe sounding shruti box.

Cutthroat Reef -  “A crew of salty sea dogs from across the seven seas. Their rowdy renditions of sea chanteys and drinking songs will make the rafters roar as they bring ashore the life of a sailor.”

Passado Action Theatre - “Shakespeare Unplugged” is a collection of Shakespearean vignettes filled with bawdy humor, physical comedy and outrageous swordplay. The show includes accurate – yet slightly irreverent – treatments of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew and more! There are also some serious moments for the classical diehards in the audience and, yea, verily, even a sonnet or two.

Zaria -  Named in honor of the Slavic goddess of beauty, youth, and sunrise, this troupe is based on a foundation of feminine strength and positive energy.

El Moro the Magician - Our favorite ‘Pirate magician’.  Fun for the whole family…How does he do that???

Guilds of the Shire

Guild of Saint Olaf - Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Court

Yeoman of the Guard – The Queen’s protectors

The Wild - Barbarians!
