Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue, Inc

Our mission is to give a second chance to dogs whose luck has run out by providing refuge until they are placed with their new compatible companion(s).

We are a non-profit dog rescue that is just getting started.  We have found 12 dogs their forever homes since April 2013.  On June 9th, 2013, we became incorporated as a non-profit in the state of Oklahoma.

Our first priority right now is funding. It will cost us around $2500 in legal fees to get started as a non-profit 501(c)(3). Becoming a non-profit 501(c)(3) not only helps us, but it benefits our sponsors and members by giving them a tax deduction for their donations. If you would like more information on what the $2500 goes to, please view our Facebook notes to see the budget broken down.

Once we are legally established, we will be looking to buy a couple acres in the Tulsa area (within a 15-20 mile radius).

Until then, we will be helping shelters and other non-profit rescues find homes for their dogs in need. We will also be fostering dogs from local kill-shelters.

Want to help? We are always looking for adopters, fosters, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and educators. Each plays a very important role in savin the lives of shelter dogs.
