BIBA Business Breakfast with Senate President Therese Murray
The Boston Irish Business Association would like to invite you to its first breakfast event of 2011. BIBA is proud to welcome Senate President Therese Murray to be our second guest speaker at this business breakfast event at the historical Algonquin Club of Boston. This is a great opportunity for the business community of Massachusetts to connect with the Senate President in the beginning of a crucial year in Massachusetts public policy. There will be an opportunity to ask questions on issues that are important to you and your business following her speech.
Senate President Murray has been active in building bilateral economic ties between Massachusetts and Ireland/Northern Ireland. In addition to working closely with the Irish business community, Senate President Murray has been a great catalyst for the creation of the Northern Ireland Massachusetts connection in NIMAC. One of NIMAC's objectives is to raise the profile of Massachusetts as a gateway for Northern Ireland companies entering the US market.
The Boston Irish Business Association has held a breakfast series in the past with Governor Deval Patrick and Lt. Governor Tim Murray. Its success has prompted us to continue to host these government series events throughout the year. As decisions are made at the various levels of government, we believe it is important to provide a forum to have frank conversations with those decision-makers and the business community.
The tickets go quickly for these breakfast forums, so we encourage members to register early.
