Adena Rehab’s Hearing and Speech Awareness 5k Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 beginning at 11 a.m. The race will begin and end at Yoctangee Park, located in downtown Chillicothe.
There is a $25 pre-registration fee ($30 on race day), and all proceeds from the event will go to the Adena Health Foundation’s Speech and Hearing Fund. Packet Pick up and Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Communication disorders can impact patients of all ages. Some are present at birth, while others may be due to aging, a medical issue (such as a stroke) or an injury. Rehabilitation and treatment can improve the quality of life for those who experience problems speaking, understanding and hearing. The Walk/Run is to bring attention to these disorders and the impact they have on patients.
If you have questions about the event, email Danielle Pecchia, at firstname.lastname@example.org
When & Where
Adena Health System
We began in a small brick house in downtown Chillicothe, and we’ve grown to span more than 12 counties offering state-of-the-art medical services.
Adena Health System includes three hospitals (Chillicothe, Waverly and Greenfield) and five regional clinics, with a total of 311 beds. Adena is here to provide quality healthcare for the more than 400,000 people who call south central and southern Ohio home. With more than 2,500 employees, Adena serves as an economic catalyst for the region.
We believe in treating every patient who walks through our doors as our friends and family. In fact, the personal care you or your loved one will receive from Adena is exceptional. After all of these years one thing hasn't changed – we're all still neighbors.
