Berkeley Humane's HERO WALK Fundraiser
Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Spend a fun morning with family and friends at Berkeley Humane’s HERO WALK, the kick-off fundraiser to our Bark (& Meow) Around the Block Adopt-A-Thon and Street Fair!
The HERO WALK puts the “fun” in fundraising. Please make a donation in any amount and be the hero of a homeless dog or cat hoping to be adopted on Sunday, September 21, 2014. By donating, you are underwriting the adoption fees and eliminating the financial barrier that might otherwise prevent a deserving animal from going to a loving home.
Your registration and donation of $50 or more entitles you to the exclusive Bark (& Meow) Around the Block T-shirt. Check-in for the HERO WALK between 9:30-10AM at 2700 Ninth Street, Berkeley, on Sunday, September 21, to receive a goody bag–our "thank you" for your $50 (or more) donation! The walk starts at 10AM.
Please bring your pet and join other passionate animal lovers on the short but lively HERO WALK Around the Block, then stay and enjoy the festivities!
Our Bark (& Meow) Around the Block Adopt-A-Thon and Street Fair is a family-friendly event that will begin at 11AM–immediately following the HERO WALK–and run until 4PM. In addition to the many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that Berkeley Humane will adopt out for free to loving homes thanks to your generous donation, this event will feature a dozen other rescues from the Bay Area, food, beer, wine, kids games, raffle prizes and many exciting vendors.
The Bark (& Meow) Around the Block Adopt-A-Thon and Street Fair is open to the public. Dogs (on leashes), fearless felines, friends and family are all welcome!
