Proceeds go to Mark Wilson & Family for medical bills while he isn’t working and going through Chemo. They have had a lot happen in their life; in 2004 Ann who is Marks girlfriend had lost her daughter in an automobile accident. She left behind a daughter who was 2 months old at the time her name is Cherish. Cherish has looked up to Mark as a father figure from day 1. We noticed one day that he started to develop dark circles under his eyes and tiny red specks around his legs and feet. After further researching I told Mark it could be chigger bites or leukemia. Weeks went by Mark became weaker and sicker. Mark was a go getter even though he knew he wasn’t feeling the greatest he never stopped. He continued to still work & do what he loves best “Hunt”. Then one day he just didn’t feel like he could go on and felt like something was wrong. He was so upset because he always had energy and likes doing things and was worried because he felt as though he just didn’t have the motivation. Mark didn’t want to go to the hospital because he didn’t have insurance. Then one day Cherish begged him to go, he made her a promise. They did diagnose Mark with Leukemia, him & his family still have a long road ahead of them. He has finished Chemo, and is in the process of doing a bone marrow biopsy.
Mark has had a positive attitude during this whole process. He is in under great care at the Cincinnati Jewish Hospital. Mark isn’t one that will ask for help, but because of the situation he doesn’t know where to turn. Which is why I am thankful to have you all at this event and make it a great success for Mark & his family? Any donation is appreciated.
