Parkinson's Sunday Morning Walk
Come out and join us for a beautiful morning walk. The scenery is spectacular and the goal is to get "out and socialize" in a beautiful place at a beautiful time of year.
Meeting Point:Meet at the rest room just beyond the second parking area.
Bring: Some drinking water and any friends you'd like to invite!
You can choose to walk either on the paved road or on the crushed granite path along the river. Both are smooth so walkers, wheelchairs, hiking poles or just tennies will work fine.
We will have three walk leaders to accomodate "tortoise and hare" speeds and distances. Remember who won that race!
If you have any concerns about your ability to participate in this type of activity safely, please talk to your neurologist first.
Your registration will help us anticipated #'s, and allow us to be in touch in case of cancellation due to weather or other circumstances. It's also a great way to make a commitment to yourself that you'll join us!
You can also sign up by calling the Parkinson's Resources of Oregon office at 1-800-426-6806.
This walk is jointly sponsored by the Central Oregon Parkinson's Council and Parkinson's Resources of Oregon.
Parkinson's Resources of Oregon has been providing hope and help to people impacted by Parkinson's disease for over 30 years.
In order to purchase these tickets in installments, you'll need an Eventbrite account. Log in or sign up for a free account to continue.
