"Believing the College Dream"

A FREE Workshop for Mentors who have Mentees

in grades 4-8.  Adults who work with youth in this age group in any setting are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

It's never too early to start the college conversation!  Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities and the ECMC Foundation on our journey to make college more accessible for low-income, first generation college-bound students.

This workshop (for adults only) will be interactive and engaging with professional trainers and curriculum.  Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.

After this workshop, Mentors will be able to support their Mentees in the following ways:

     - Help them believe in themselves and their ability to succeed in

        school

     - Teach them how to identify people they can trust to support their

        educational journey

     - Show them that going to college is within their grasp
