This is a free 9-week group that is open to all undergraduate women at the University of New Hampshire (UNH)
Being Fierce and Fabulous is a group that provides women at UNH a safe space to explore who they are and what they value, in order to live lives that are fulfilling emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.

- Reflect on who you are as a unique individual - who matters
- Give volume to your voice to assert your needs and desires - because you deserve them
- Gain confidence in who you are on the inside and outside - because you're fabulous
- Develop techniques and skills to nurture yourself - you deserve kindness and care
- Rediscover your already - FIERCE AND FABULOUS SELF!
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email Dawn Zitney at email@example.com or call (603) 863-4484.
Where will the group meet?
The group meets in the Health Services conference rooms on the 2nd floor. When you arrive to the first session, Kathleen and Dawn will be in the room to greet you and encourage you to make yourself comfortable.
What should I bring to the group each week?
Since the group meets over the lunch hour, we will have snacks available at each session but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Dress comfortably. Bring a notebook/journal and writing utensil. Further information about what to bring to the group will be provided in an email Dawn will send you a week before the group begins.
How long is the group and when does it meet?
The group runs from 12:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. You are welcome to come to the group 15 minutes in advance to get comfortable and connect with the other members.
The group will meet every Friday, starting on September 20th and ending on November 22nd. We will not meet the week of October 18th (fall break).
What if I can't attend all sessions of the group?
Attendance at all sessions of the group is STRONGLY recommended. However, we do understand that life happens and it may not be possible for you to attend all sessions. If you are going to miss a session, and you know this in advance, please let Dawn know. If you are going to miss more than one session, we require that you register for the group another semester. We are strict with our attendance policy because to get the most out of the group experience, it is essential that you attend each week - plus we would miss you too much if you missed several sessions.
What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel out of the group anytime before Thursday, September 12th. We usually have a waiting list for the group and ask that if you have decided to no longer attend that group that you let us know sooner rather than later. You can cancel your registration through this website or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. No questions will be asked and we respect your choices - but we may encourage you to attend another semester...just because we would love to meet you!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope. Instead, you will get an email from Dawn a week before the group starts confirming that you still plan on attending, please respond to that email.
