50 Mason Social House has teamed up with local brewery Speakeasy Ales & Lagers to host a unique evening of burlesque, bands and beer. To celebrate San Francisco's Beer Week 2013, 50 Mason Social House has booked an entire night of Prohibition Era cabaret entertainment paired with some of Speakeasy’s finest beers.
The Prohibition style event will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. We will kick-off the event with a VIP reception for SF Beer Week bootleggers and accomplices from 7pm to 8pm featuring a Burlesque show, Prohibition Era Prices on beer and an opportunity to meet one of Speakeasy’s very own brewers. The doors will open to the general public at 8pm and will feature the funky cabaret music of Eggplant Casino, one of San Francisco’s premiere cabaret-afro-latin ensembles.
“…the Eggplant Casino will give you some funky cabaret and the evening will shack your soul. This is a DO NOT MISS performance!” – SF STATION
“Speakeasy is looking forward to helping create a night of Prohibition proportions…burlesque, cabaret, and local brew…how can we go wrong?” – DANIEL ELLIOT, SF HITMAN, SPEAKEASY ALES & LAGERS
“We’ve been proudly serving Speakeasy beers since day one, and we are thrilled by the opportunity to create such an event that compliments their products. The entire evening is designed to bring us all back to the days of old when something that is such a staple in our lives today, was taboo. I’ve always wanted to know what it would feel like to be part of the Boardwalk Empire. Hopefully we can recreate that atmosphere.” - RENE DENIS, MANAGING PARTNER, 50 MASON SOCIAL HOUSE
