Event Details

“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." 1 John 4:12

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, believed, as did Jesus, that together we can become the "beloved community." But what does that actually look like? How can we learn to better love our family, neighbors and the strangers we interact with daily? Our longing for community is often at odds with the individualism that is so prevalent in our culture. Dare to imagine and enact on the invitation of radical love promised by the gospel of peace. Join us for this five-week Learning Lab where we will support each other to work towards:

  • Identifying our social circles and most important relationships. Seeking reconciliation with those we have wronged.
  • Tenaciously forgiving those who have wronged us. Practicing honest, direct and loving communication.
  • Engaging in the neighborhood.
  • Cultivating group leadership skills.

Each session with include regular rhythms of hospitality, the Lord's table and prayer.

Dates: Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm, April 22nd through May 20th.

Cost: $55. Scholarships available upon request.

Payment Options: $35 deposit required for registration. Other portion can be paid in person with cash or check. Cancellations are required 3 days prior to Learning Lab for partial refund, though deposit payment is nonrefundable.
