Social media tools are changing every day. Learn the components of a successful social media strategy with guest speaker Aileron's Jean Webster.
Attendees will gain new perspectives, fresh ideas, and strategies for using social media to increase sales and nurture online relationships, while also learning how to measure social media ROI. Attendees will also learn the advantages, limitations, and best practices of the most popular social media tools.
Materials wil be distributed electronically, so feel free to bring your tablet/laptop and questions along!

All attendees have the option of purchasing a box lunch for a $9 fee. The lunch includes a whole sandwich (turkey, ham, or chicken), chips, a pickle, a cookie, and one beverage. Orders for this session will be from The Honey Baked Ham Company.

As Aileron's Communications Manager, Jean develops and maintains client relationships through branding, marketing, community relations, internal communications and content distribution. Jean also oversees customer service and client satisfaction to ensure a positive experience for everyone visiting the campus.
As the “voice” of Aileron, Jean keeps Aileron’s business owner community connected through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, email newsletters and special events on and off campus. Also, you can literally hear Jean’s voice on the Aileron voicemail.
During her undergraduate studies, Jean had the opportunity to work alongside her father: an entrepreneur and business owner. His creativity and entrepreneurial spirit really sparked her passion for private enterprise. Jean was able to apply what she was learning in the classroom directly to his business, making her educational experience even more meaningful. Jean received her Bachelor of Science in business from Wright State University.
Prior to joining Aileron in November 2006, Jean was the director of member services at a private country club located in Mason, Ohio. During that period, she honed her skills in all aspects of marketing, membership services, client relations and event management. But after three years of craft nights and Santa Brunches, Jean was ready to move on to an organization with a more meaningful mission.
Jean was honored with the Dayton Business Journal "Forty under Forty" award in 2011 and received her Master of Arts in Management and Leading Change from Antioch University Midwest in August 2012. Jean resides in warm and cheerful Centerville, Ohio in a newly rehabbed European-style townhome that she shares with her partner in life and emergency contact, Tony.
