Tennessean staffers will be on hand to discuss the conclusion of their organization’s year-long "Because of You" series honoring legends such as Diane Nash and recently departed Will Campbell. Photographer Larry McCormack’s “On These Streets” series, which shows the Movement within the context of present day Nashville, will be on display and for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Nashville Public Library.
Ann Patchett will then introduce Haitian-American author Edwidge Danticat, who will read from her latest novel, “Claire by the Sea Light”, a stunning new work of fiction that brings the reader deep into the intertwined lives of a small seaside town where a little girl, the daughter of a fisherman, has gone missing.
