Beats of Freedom is a story about Polish rock music and independence. Narrated by a well known British writer and journalist, Chris Salewicz, this documentary is a journey through three decades of Polish rock. Chris meets with legends of the Polish music scene and shows us unique footage of their first concerts as well as archives of Polish history under communism.

Polish Filmmakers NYC
Polish Filmmakers NYC is devoted to bringing the best in Polish cinema past and present to New York City audiences. Since 2012, the organization has hosted regular and special screenings, including the New York premiere of Andrej Wadja's Walesa: Man of Hope and our annual Polish Women in Film series.
The 2014 Polish Women in Film Series: New Voices, Ancient Echoes will be held from November 7th to 9th at the Tribeca Film Center. It will kick off with an invitation-only opening night at the Museum of Modern Art on November 6th.
