The Office of Human Relations and Immigrant Relations and Integration Services (IRIS) invite you to attend a reception to honor individuals and organizations that work to advance the human rights and full civic engagement of immigrants in Santa Clara County.
This year we are proud to announce the following honorees:
Salvador Bustamante, recipient of the Cindy Avitia Award for Lifetime Commitment to Social Justice
FIRE Coalition for Advocacy on behalf of Immigrants regarding the Civil Detainer issue
Judy Rickard for Advocacy on behalf of LGBT Immigrant Rights
Marija Kevesevic for her 15 Years of Service and Advocacy on behalf of Refugees through the International Rescue Committee.
Refreshments will be served during the reception an d will also include performances by the
San Jose Cambodian Dance Troupe and the Saratoga Serbian Dance Troupe.

Ceremony to include performance by jazz vocalist Cheryl Scales. The reception will feature SJ Jazz Youth All Stars. A light international buffet will be served. Tickets are $15 each. Parking on county lot open to public after 5:30!
