BEACH HOUSE COMMUNITY PICNIC
Thursday, August 8, 2013
6 - 8:30 pm
Gather in the courtyard or snag a square of sand, and spend an evening dining al fresco with friends. It’s BYO for a summer dining experience at the Beach House. We’ll have sports equipment and sand games out for pick-up volleyball, soccer, beach tennis, ladder ball, corn toss and ping-pong. Rolling solo? We'll save a space at the table for you!
Other activities include story time with Heal the Bay's Santa Monica Pier Aquarium for kids ages 2-5 (with parent/guardian in attendance), and a homemade cookie contest.
Reminder: No glass, alcohol or lighting fires allowed. Parking $3/hour or $12/day
Want to show off your baking skills? Enter our homemade cookie contest! Let us know you plan to enter by making a COOKIE CONTEST reservation above.
Bring at least two dozen homemade cookies and a list of your cookies' ingredients to the picnic by 6:30pm on Thursday, August 8. A panel of judges will award one class certificate to the Gourmandise School of Sweets and Savories to the cookie awarded first place. Extra cookies will be shared with Beach House Community Picnic guests.
You can enter more than one cookie! Please reserve one COOKIE CONTEST ticket for each contest entry.
