Come make an impact in the community and be a part of the Heritiage Community Connections Youth Leadership Team! Heritage Youth & Family Services of Texas provides opportunities for students to plan and participate in meaningful service learning projects in the community.

Summer 2016 service learning projects included assisting the homeless services department at a school district, volunteering at a homeless shelter, and a participation in the Adopt-A-Beach program. The Youth Leadership Team will participate in planning service learning projects to be completed during the Summer of 2017.

Registration in the Youth Leadership Team is limited to student participants in Heritage Keepers abstinence education curriculum.

Are there requirements to enter the event?

Registration is limited to student participants in the Heritage Keepers abstinence education program during the 2016-2017 school year. School district teachers may also register as volunteers for the Youth Leadership Team.


What are my transportation options for getting to and from the event?

Bus transportation is provided by Heritage Youth & Family Services of Texas.


What can I bring into the event?

Bring your creativity and a spirit of service. $3.00 required for lunch at Fuddruckers.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, only the student registering for the event may attend provided the student participated in the Heritage Keepers abstinence education program during the 2016-2017 school year.
