Beach Baby Fitness offers Core Conditioning classes and private sessions in lower Manhattan. Core Conditioning is a balanced workout that focuses on pelvic floor, abdominal retraining, back strengthening, posture, stretching and upper/lower body toning. Yoga Core Conditioning focuses on recovery and strengthening of the core through a creative energizing flow with relaxing restorative poses at the end.
Classes are BYOBABY: mom can bring her baby/toddler to the class and get a great workout. A caregiver supervises the kids in a group within sight of mom so she can focus on exercise. Moms are always welcome without their little ones.

Complete Core by Solange
Solange Ross is a physical therapist in the fitness industry, specializing in pelvic floor and post partum rehabilitation. Complete Core is a conditioning and strengthening program for women at all stages of life offering individual instruction and technique. The focus is on strengthening the pelvic floor and deep core muscles through a mix of disciplines including Yoga, Pilates and Physical Therapy based exercises.
Solange has experienced a personal journey as a new mom. In 2008 after the birth of her first child she discovered there were no exercise classes for women that focused on the deep abdominal muscles or helped women re-connect with the most important part of their bodies post birth. Solange is passionate about helping women connect before and during pregancy to have a sense of the foundation for the body and the best post-partum recovery.
“I teach in a way that helps women reconnect with their deep core muscles and I integrate this with a full body workout. Throughout the class, as we flow through different exercises we always stay connected to our core. Women need this after they have a baby; to stay strong as the mom of a newborn and then with a toddler and to prevent common core related issues as we age.”~ Solange
The program targets the postural muscles that are challenged daily and teaches moms how to connect, breathe, and feel their abdominals again, and in doing so, increase their overall fitness levels. As a result of this class women are able to move better, breathe better and get the most out of the time and effort they are putting into their exercise routine.
Solange offers private sessions in your home or gym in your building and a group class called Complete Core at Downtown Dance Factory and outdoors along the waterfront in BPC and Soho.
