Get ready to roll the dice once again, at our Casino Night, “Be Our Guest” gala, a benefit event that supports Angels on Stage (AoS) and California Community Opportunities (CCO). The event will be held Friday, May 31, from 7pm to 11pm at Corinthian Grand Ballroom in San Jose.
AoS illuminates abilities of children with special needs ages 5-22 by providing a performing arts program and classes that lead to the opportunity to participate in an annual professional musical theatre production. Their mission is to enhance the lives of children and young adults with differing abilities through the medium of performing arts, thereby breaking down stereotypes and developing independence, confidence, self-esteem and general life skills.
CCO supports adults with special needs by providing services in Family Teaching and Extended Family Teaching Homes, offering the opportunity to live in their own homes in the community and develop a lifestyle they choose. Their primary mission is to provide a high quality solution for serving persons with severe to profound developmental disabilities being placed out of Agnews Developmental Center.
“When you purchase a ticket to Casino Night you are part of something special - your contribution will help both organizations support the local children and adults with special needs in our community as they shine on stage and advance and thrive in their daily lives,” said Nina Anderson Duncan – Production Manager of AoS.
This year the fun-filled evening of casino games, silent auction, raffle and entertainment is available for $100 per person. Cocktail Attire is requested.
