Bayou City Outdoors Meet & Greet Art and Crafts (beer) crawl
Join Bayou City Outdoors for a cultured evening of mingling Art, food trucks, complimentary craft beer and live music!
To mix things up a bit we've decided to take a new spin on the meaning of Arts & Crafts... As we will surely be immersed in some of the finest art collections in Houston, we've decided to add a little "crafts" to the night... Craft beer that is! Some of our best, local craft breweries will be joining us for our night of good taste. Come try a few or several free samples.
After getting your art on, step outside to please your palette with your choice of Houston Food Trucks that will be onsite with tasty treats to purchase. On-site food trucks include Good Dog Hot Dog and Phamily Bites
Jimmy Pizzitola will be performing at the Nicole Longnecker Gallery. You can preview Jimmy P. at www.poetontherun.net.
We'll be kicking off the evening at the Nicole Longnecker Gallery at 2625 Colquitt Street at 6 PM.
Be sure to check-in, pick up a gallery guide, and enter the BCO sweepstakes for a private wine tasting for 10 at Dry Comal Creek Vineyards and Winery in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Then make your way through the galleries while mingling and sipping. Each gallery has something unique to offer and you won't want to miss anything. We will wrap up the evening at Parkerson Gallery.
Galleries include: Catherine Couturier Gallery, Laura Rathe Fine Art, Peveto: A Fine Art Resource Management Company, Dean Day Gallery, Thornwood Gallery, Nicole Longnecker Gallery, D.M. Allison Gallery, Parkerson Gallery
The Art Crawl goes from 6:00 to 8:00 pm - then we'll head across the street to Hendricks Pub for the rest of the evening.
Be sure to RSVP so we have plenty of craft beer to share!
When & Where
Bayou City Outdoors
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Typically most BCO events are for adults. But, we do love kids. If you believe your child is capable of keeping up with the group, no problem. AND if this is a bike ride they MUST wear a helmet. Questions? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We add parking details to the Event descriptions.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
If the temperature is above 80 or it very clearly says "No Dogs" then please don't bring your dog. We LOVE dogs and only make this rule if we feel there could be a safety concern (for the dogs of course:).
BIKE: If it is a bike ride: Bring a helmet or borrow one from us. Helmets are the single most important piece of gear you can have on a bike ride. Anyway, any time you are wearing a helmet you must be having fun!
Bring water. Frequently our events are in the woods or out of the way. Water is important.
HIKE: If it is a hiking event wear comfortable shoes. Athletic shoes, hiking boots, running shoes, just be sure your feet will be happy.
SOCIAL: If it is a social event? Wear whatever YOU feel comfortable in. We are an eclectic mix of people with all types of interests and jobs. People will come straight from work in a suit or jeans, straight from running or working out, and some of us even come cleaned up straight from the shower! (and everything in between)
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Printed ticket or download the EventBright app and bring it on your phone.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds up until 48 hours before. Or, better yet, get some goodwill by sharing your ticket with a friend. They will love you even more after all the fun they had at the BCO event!
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes - see love & friendship above!
