Join us as we take a deep dive into the work of Donna and her team at Casa with the Bay Area Premiere The Casa de los Angeles Documentary.
In the film we travel with Miguel, the director of Casa to visit the homes of two single working mothers to take an inside look at the philosophy of the free daycare center. Amidst the backdrop of beautiful Mexico, we explore how the mothers and families with this dilemma are supported by Casa and their community.
When & Where
Casa De Los Angeles
Casa de los Angeles, a nonprofit in Mexico, is addressing one of Mexico's biggest issues, free daycare for single mothers.
Many single mothers in Mexico are forced to decide between caring for their children or going to work and leaving them unattended. Casa de los Angeles allows these mothers invest in improving their families lives.
Casa de los Angeles was founded on September of 2000 and has grown over the years to now serve more than 100 children from 83 families.
