Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your day? Spend it at the American Heart Association's Heart Walk on Wednesday, September 17 at Marine View Park at Oracle in Redwood City. The Heart Walk is a 5k non-competitive walk that promotes fun, fitness and the American Heart Association’s lifesaving research and education programs. This is a great way to fulfill community service requirements, give back to the community and help fight heart disease and stroke, the #1 and #3 killers in the nation. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and snacks.
Volunteer Responsibilities include: Event set up and breakdown, directing event participants, monitoring the route, passing out lunches and assisting sponsors and AHA staff where needed. Volunteers needed from 8 AM to 3:30 PM (shifts available).
