Join us! as teachers showcase their students and are pitted against other schools.
Come to witness the best instructors that have been passing down their talents to our much needed youth!
Let’s bridge the gap between beginner breakers and the Breaking community at large.

classes as well as to their students!

8p-8:30p: Team Battles for 1st,2nd & 3rd.
8:30p-9p: Awards Ceremony.
FORMAT: Battle of the Year style prelims. 5-7 minute showcase of each Team Choreography and solos. Instructors CANNOT be a part of the performance. Schools are
allowed to have other styles in the showcase but the MAJORITY of the showcase has to
be breaking. Top 4 Teams will be chosen to battle for 1st and 3rd place. Once in the
battle format you can only BREAK. Routines and commandos welcomed with Breaking
solos. Instructors can lead students here behind the lines but cannot join in. Teams
must have identifying team attire.
Ages 5-13 years ONLY. 5 Kids minimum per team. School has to be an established school
or part of an official dance studio. Kids have to be registered at your
studio/school. A school/studio may submit more than 1 team. You are to submit online
registration, liability waivers, and media release forms. Schools get a discount
admission when tickets are online.
7 TO SMOKE FOR ADULTS: 7 adults or Active/Experienced Breakers in the scene - King of
the hill style. Winner that wins 7 rounds first or has the most points after the time
expires wins. $50 cash prize and plaque/trophy. This battle is for the youth to see
real time battling.
CYPHER KING/QUEEN: Instructors please inform your students their will be an
plaque/trophy for whoever reps the most during cypher time. This is for Breaking
Judging Critera: Breaking fundamentals, Originality of choreography, Coordination &
timing, Attire & presentation.
a.) No touching. Use Breaker etiquette at all times. Please respect all dancers.
b.) Instructors cannot join the battle or the performance.
c.) Respect judges decisions.
D.) Cannot steal rounds. Solos must be connected by a commando/routine. You won't be
disqualified for this but the 2nd solo won't count.
e) Profanity is strictly prohibited by any dancer competing and anyone associated in
any way with a competitor.
