Over the last five months, Shaw has been diligently working on its SharePoint 2010 upgrade project. Leveraging a culture of SharePoint adoption and a large amount of content, Shaw made design decisions that fell in line with many of the goals Microsoft had for the latest version of its collaborative software platform. From initiation to planning and design to execution to training and implementation, Shaw has a variety of experiences that they would like to share. Many of these project experiences are things that you may have been through already or will go through soon. Either way, this session should prove to be informative, entertaining and thought-provoking.
Core members of Shaw’s EDMS group will present this topic. These presenters: Jason Bourg, Cody Dickinson, and Chad Eiserloh have a combined 22 years of business-engaged SharePoint experience servicing over 13,000 users. One of Shaw’s instrumental Corporate Communications members, Bret Lovetro will join the presenting team to discuss style decisions and news delivery. In addition, Shaw leveraged development assistance from Sparkhound, and those team members will be present to answer questions about branding and a few special web parts.
