The Urban Horticulture program disseminates information about (1) residential horticulture including plant selection, lawn care, landscape design, plant problem diagnostics; (2) Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Principles, by encouraging residents to conserve and protect our water resources; and (3) other urban horticulture topics such as growing your own food in backyard and community garden settings and by presenting a variety of landscaping and gardening education programs including the Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program.
