This workshop will cover the key principles and approaches to managing your apple trees organically. The presenter will utilize an integrated approach to the delivery of content. The following topics will be included: variety selection, thinning, managing the orchard floor, insects, pests and diseases that threaten orchard health, as well as, strategies that pomote fertility. A primary focus of the workshop will be distinguishing organic management from the conventional horticultural methods of growing apples. Beginners and those with experience are invited to attend this workshop.
