The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed, healthcare providers, such as: EMTs, physician assistants, respiratory/physical/occupational therapists, medical or nursing students, medical school residents, and fellows.
The course covers: adult and pediatric CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask, foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious), automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update), special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary situations.
The class is certified by the American Heart Association, and you will receive a two-year certificate after successful completion of the course. The cost of the course includes a three-hour class, a manual, and your card.
