Storefront retailers sometimes successfully work with customers and suppliers without expensive customized legal contracts, but did you know that there are laws that automatically apply to close the gaps?  We will survey the basics of the Uniform Commercial Code, discuss how the typical fine print on purchase orders, bills of lading, and invoices impacts your vendor relationships, and explore your rights as a business owner when transacting with retail consumers.  Although taught by an experienced business attorney, this class does not constitute legal advice.  Presented by the San Francisco Community Business Law Center.

SBAs’ posting of this event is not an endorsement of the views, opinions, products, or services of any Cosponsor or other person or entity.  All SBA programs or cosponsored programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.  Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made, if requested at least 2 weeks in advance.

To receive our electronic email listing of future classes, sign-up @ sfomail@sba.gov.  Please note, we do not sell, rent or trade the names on our email list. Your email address is only used to send messages from the SBA.
