Barnsdall Outdoor Movie Night - Screening of "Chinatown" and Beer Garden

BARNSDALL OUTDOOR MOVIES PRESENTS "CHINATOWN," the classic 1974 LA noir starring Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, and John Huston, written by Robert Towne, directed by Roman Polanski.
SCREENING: The screening of "Chinatown" will begin at 7:30pm (Note new start time.) Cost to attend the screening is a $10 suggested donation. COME EARLY TO SECURE A PLACE ON THE LAWN!
The screening will take place outdoors on the West Lawn of Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House, perched on the beautiful Olive Hill.
BEER GARDEN with SILVERLAKE WINE: From 4pm to 7pm, Silverlake Wine will be presenting our Beer Garden offering four glasses of two unique beer selections. Come early, have some beer, and secure your spot in front of the screen. Ticket for Beer Garden and Screening is $25 (which includes the suggested donation for the screening). Additional glasses of beer will be $5.
All profits from the screening of "Swingers" and the Beer Garden will benefit Barnsdall Art Park Foundation programs and projects, such as Free Sunday Art Classes for children and families in the community, as well as capital projects like the Monument Sign and restoration of the Hollyhock Motor Court.
Food: Bring a picnic! You are welcome to bring your own food, soft drinks, and a blanket; however, NO outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted.
Also, the Coolhaus truck will be selling unique and delicious ice cream sandwiches, including a special Movie Night flavor, Guinness Chip And the famous Let's Be Frank hot dog truck will also be there, selling their 100% grass-fed beef hot dogs and family-farmed pork sausages.
We will also be offering free popcorn, as well as selling water for $1.
Parking/Transportation: Free parking is available at the top and bottom of Barnsdall Art Park. Handicap parking is available at the top. There will be no free Kaiser parking for this event, but there should be ample parking on the Hill. Metro: The Vermont/Sunset Red Line Metro station is right next to Barnsdall Art Park.
Policies: In the event of weather or event cancellation, a rain check will be provided for the rescheduled Barnsdall Movie Night. No refunds.
Valid Photo ID is required to partake in the Beer Tasting. Because the film is rated R, no children under 17 will be allowed in.
Dogs and animals are permitted on leash in the general park areas right outside the West Lawn, but are not permitted inside the gated West Lawn area.

Barnsdall Art Park Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) support organization for all of the Barnsdall Art Park institutions on Olive Hill in Los Angeles. Frank Lloyd Wright designed Hollyhock House and the surrounding property was donated to the City of Los Angeles by Aline Barnsdall in 1927.
