Backyard Bird Tracking
Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (EDT)
What birds fly around YOUR town? Chances are some of them are nesting on 2 tiny islands in Alligator Lake in Safety Harbor. Master Naturalist Sandy Huff will be giving a full color program on the birds she and the professional Audubon birders have been tracking for the past 26 years.
You'll learn how to identify the field marks, traits, and habits of the 16 wading birds that make our area so fascinating. And let's face it -- baby birds are downright adorable!
