Join Oakland East Bay Symphony at our first annual event Bach and Brew to celebrate the completion of our 25th Anniversary season. This is an unique beer tasting event at renowned Linden Street Brewery in Oakland. Come and enjoy local craft brews made by orchestra members and meet them in person.
Orchestra brewmasters have both taken and taught classes in fermentation and will have a wide assortment of delicious tastes including special brown ales and coffee stout made especially for the event by members of the brass and woodwinds.
Finger food will be provided inside. We will have an array of food trucks for attendees to pick up more substantial fare. Linden Street brews will also be on tap to sample and for purchase of pints.
Musical entertainment will feature Bach Brandenburg's performed by members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony string and flute sections with Music Director Michael Morgan accompanying on keyboard. On the second half, we will feature Symphony cellist and vocalist Rebecca Roudman in her band Dirty Cello
which brings together a high energy mix of blues, gypsy, and dance music.
Here are bios of our musician brewmasters and details of the craft beers available only at this event.
We invite you to celebrate our 25th Anniversary season end with members of the orchestra and the community bringing together all the richness that is Oakland.
