BAAPALS 5th Annual Summer Intern Mixer
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
For the past five years, the Bay Area Asian Pacific American Legislative Staffers (BAAPALS) has had very successful Summer Interns Series with our annual mixer, welcoming over 150 interns, students, staffers, and professional leaders from non-profit, government, legal, and private organizations. Our Summer Intern Series provides information and mentorship to summer interns working in the local legislative offices through brown bag lunches and networking events.
The 5th Annual Summer Intern Mixer gathers young student leaders interning at various government offices and nonprofit organizations. Interns will have an opportunity to meet and network with one another, elected officials, government employees, staffers, nonprofit leaders, and professionals from the community. The event supports the personal and professional development of young people by encouraging their involvement in the political pipeline. We hope that you will join BAAPALS in our effort to build bridges across generations!
