About this class
How can I maximize the effectiveness of my networking?
How do I put myself out there to grow my business or build supporters for my campaign?
I hate networking! How can I make it fun and useful?
Many people dread walking into a networking event, conference mixer, or dinner party. Some choose to skip them all together because of their social anxiety. Others hang by the bar or with their friends, and never make any new contacts to grow their business or network. Learning how to effectively network and introduce oneself and others is crucial.
By learning how to effectively network, you will improve your ability to broaden your network, build credibility, and ensure a steady stream of clients.
”As a self-employed person, these skills have helped me immensely. In the consulting world, referrals are paramount. I’ve never had a formal interview for a client. Rather, I meet people at conferences, events, or through my personal and professional networks, who later end up hiring me.” E. Utter.
This workshop will cover 3 topic areas:
Why Networking Works, and How to Make It Work For You
How to Connect With People in a More Authentic Way (Network without feeling fake, salesy, or desperate!)
How to Bring Your New Skills Into Practice: Learn How to Engage at Networking and Other Event
The workshop will include time for discussion/Q+A.
