Are you working on a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign and need a video? Learn the basics of crafting a successful crowdfunding video in this two hour masterclass at the HUB Media Lab. Under the guidance of a professional filmmaker, you will be taken through the steps of writing, producing, filming and editing your video. We will cover the do’s and don’ts of shooting interviews, telling your story, and shaping a compelling narrative. By the end of the workshop, you will be well on your way to creating an awesome video for your crowdfunding campaign!

About Instructor Abraham Heisler:
Abraham Heisler, a native New Yorker, first picked up a camera in 1994. His relationship to the medium of film and video has continually evolved.
After studying film at Syracuse University and the New York Film Academy, Abe took on larger projects such as his short film, ”Danny and the Ocean”, which premiered in the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival and ”The Lotus Date”, which was selected to be on New York City TV show, Press Play.
In recent years, Abe has worked with AMURT, an international disaster relief and community development NGO, producing television commercials, video blogs and a short documentary, which won the people’s choice award in the Explore Hatch online film festival.
Abe is an active Hip-Hop yogi, engaged in working towards social change. His passions include, but are not limited to, meditation, breakdance, poetry, emceeing, social justice, martial arts, dance, comedy and cookies.
After working in Hollywood in 2010, Abe now resides in Berkeley and works with non-profit organizations and socially conscious businesses to help them tell their story.
