AWS Tech Talk in Minneapolis- Getting the Network to Load Balance You!
Monday, November 4, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (CST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
You’re invited to join us for a FREE Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tech Talk Event with some of our Route 53 engineers on Monday, November 4th from 6:30-9PM!
Route 53 is a highly available and scalable DNS service that is one of Amazon's most widely distributed services with name servers in approximately 40 edge locations around the world. This talk describes our custom BGP route server that directs requests to DNS servers in absence of hardware load balancers. We'll look at how the system provides availability and isolation in presence of host, server and network failures.
This will be a great opportunity to network with other tech enthusiasts in the area over light appetizers and drinks while learning about the future of computing. This event is free and open to all, don't hesitate to spread the word and come with friends! Please RSVP so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
Date: Monday, November 4th- 6:30-9PM- Tech Talk starts at 7PM
Cost: Free and open to public
Where: Radisson Plaza Hotel- 35 7th Street South, Minneapolis, Minnesota
We’ll provide the food/drinks for you.
