The sheer ability to recall moments of awe and wonder in life brings numerous gifts. These include: greater life-satisfaction, a preference for experiences over material goods, increased willingness to help others as well as better emotional and physical health. There is a well-established link between the depression of troubled kids and adults, their sense of meaninglessness, challenging behaviour or attention-difficulties and their common lack of experiences of awe and wonder.
During this two-day workshop you will not only discover why this is so, you will also learn some innovative creative techniques that positively address this lack and can strengthen your client’s or pupil’s wellbeing. The techniques can be applied indoors and outdoors.
The workshop is designed for people who work in a professional or voluntary capacity with demanding kids or adults and have at least 2 years (fte) work-experience. This might be as an artist, a teacher, outdoor-specialist, health-worker or in a related role. The course is limited to 16 participants.

As if we didn’t know it already, recent research has confirmed that a separation from the natural world leads to a diminished existence. Case-studies prove that restoring this connection leads to immediate and beneficial results, on all levels, including mind, body and spirit.
Bottom line is – people flourish in connection to nature. You only have to glance at WildWise’s testimonials to understand the value of this connection.
We see it all the time. We want you to.
