About Chris Lampen-Crowell
Chris created Gazelle Sports with Bruce Johnson in 1985 with the help of family and friends in Downtown Kalamazoo. Gazelle Sports opened a Grand Rapids location in 1989 and Holland in 1994. Chris opened New Balance in Grand Rapids in 2003. He began Team Gazelle (team sales) division in 2004 and now employs 160 people. Chris creates, leads, and organizes healthy, fun events and programs such as the John Daley Memorial One/One Run, the Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run, and the Borgess Run Camp.
