Autism Symposium: Managing difficult behaviors and meltdowns in those with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This course is intended to enhance the knowledge of interventions related to behaviors common to those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
At the completion of the program, you’ll be able to:
- Describe the cycle of tantrums, rage and meltdowns and identify interventions that can be used at each stage
- Learn to identify how sensory processing can affect behaviors and be knowledgeable of home and clinic strategies of management.
- Understand medical management relating to behaviors common to those with ASD

6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are applicable toward continuing education for nursing licensure.
This program is approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, RSX118902. This session has been approved for 6.25 CEU hours.
