Join us as pediatrician, Dr David Traver, and Coach Kim Rice discuss how certain foods can affect brain function and behavior in both children and adults. The talk will end with a kid-friendly gluten and dairy-free tour of the store and many vendors will be offering yummy GF samples.

Dr. David Traver is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has worked for a year as a pediatrician in the Pervasive Developmental Disorder/Neuropsychiatry Clinic in Stanford Medical Center's Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to his time in this clinic, Dr. Traver also spent an additional year becoming familiar with the medical management of patients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and is familar with the biomedical approach to treating Autistic Spectrum Disorders, known as the DAN! Kim Rice is a certified health coach/gluten practitioner and mother of three children. She resides in California where she writes and speaks about nutrition and its effect on families’ health and brain function. In her practice she assists parents of children with special needs, such as autism and ADHD, to make dietary changes to optimize brain function and behavior.
