Jeffrey Eugenides

Join Chicago Tribune Literary Editor Elizabeth Taylor in conversation with Pulitzer Prize winner Jeffrey Eugenides, author of "The Marriage Plot" (Farrar, Straus and Giroux). This is his much anticipated follow-up to the critically-acclaimed novel, "Middlesex." The winner of the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for fiction and the Ambassador Book Award, "Middlesex" was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, France's Prix Medicis, and the Lambda Literary Award. It was also selected for Oprah’s Book Club. Eugenides’ first novel, "The Virgin Suicides," was adapted into a critically-acclaimed film by Sofia Coppola. He is on the faculty of Princeton University. Eugenides will appear at the Murphy Auditorium, Friday, October 21, at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for this program, which include a copy of The Marriage Plot, are $30.
